December holidays aren't my favorite. There, now you know a thing about me.

I find the holidays make everyone more stressed out, so to help ease things along at family events, I bring crafts.

Jewelry is a winner for make and take activities, whether they are family or work. Here are 3 jewelry tutorials in order of ease of transport to help make your holiday get togethers more fun!

These are also great for workshops in your studio or ladies night events.

Micro mosaic jewelry

These make and take jewelry pieces are my go to for holiday family (or company) party events. Help the kids make instant gifts for their parents or grandma. In fact, I'm doing this exact project with my littles using frit balls instead of mica mosaic.

Lentil Bead Earrings Tutorial

These earrings combine hardware with glass in a tension setting. Premake the beads and participants can assemble, customize and personalize with additional elements dangling from the hardware loops.

Reverse Kiln Intaglio

It's quite easy to create reverse intaglio jewelry with a kiln and plaster forms. Premade pendants can be reverse painted with low fire enamels or oven cured paints for a more hands on glass project. Even small hands can paint with Pebeo!

Intro to Fusing Class - Tuesdays

The Thursday class has just one spot left, so I have opened up a Tuesday session! If you needed a different day of the week, or were on the fence, this one is for you.

Beginning fusing class. This class is great fun, 2 weeks with recycled glass and 2 weeks with fusible art glass, so no matter what path your glass journey takes, you have a solid foundation in glass theory and knowledge.

Intermediate Glass Fusing - Feb. 16 - March 9 Thursday evening 6:30 - 9

Intermediate Glass Fusing class - This one requires an Intro to glass class with Jodi or another instructor, or previous glass experience.

We will expand our glass art practice with increasingly complex skills like strip cutting, on edge construction, circles and 3D projects.
