I love float (window) glass, I really do, it's like a blank slate just waiting to be turned into something amazing.
That can also be the challenge, its so....blank.
In addition to a whole bunch of glass products
that you can add to float glass, you can also carve or engrave it to add texture and interest.
I define carving as removing significant amounts of glass to create texture and engraving as drawing on the surface of the glass to create lines.

Add to your knowledge of fusing with bottle glass with this advanced class. We will spend time learning how to test for compatibility between different bottle glasses, how to use a variety of inclusions such as brass, copper, silver, aluminum, plaster, raw mica and enamels. This class will build directly on the Basic Bottle
Fusing class, some glass fusing experience is required. We will make a variety of project with our new techniques, including wall vases, plates, glass boxes and lanterns. We will also make a larger Fuse and Fold Animal.
