I've gotten a lot of questions this week about making frit. I thought I would take a minute and show you more about my garbage disposal frit maker, affectionately referred to as Chewy.
Hopefully it will be useful in your frit making endeavors.
The Advanced Bottle Glass Fusing class will be free live streaming in February. You can sign up now if you like. You do NOT have to be registered to watch the free live stream, but we do give away free things to registered viewers.
My teaching schedule is filling up rapidly, and I've updated the classes page yet again.
Heart molds are on sale through this Saturday, 1/28/17, in time for Valentine's day fusing.
Watch the live broadcast for free, and available for streaming later for a small fee.
Add to your knowledge of fusing with bottle glass with this advanced class. We will spend time learning how to test for compatibility between different bottle glasses, how to use a variety of inclusions such as brass, copper, silver, aluminum, plaster, raw mica and enamels. This class will build directly on the Basic Bottle
Fusing class, some glass fusing experience is required. We will make a variety of project with our new techmiques, including wall vases, plates, glass boxes and lanterns. We will also make a larger Fuse and Fold Animal.
