Happily, it looks like the art glass companies and the DEQ have reached agreements about resuming production.
Unfortunately, it looks like the cost of art glass is set to go up.
Rather than let this discourage you from making glass art, consider experimenting with float (window) glass and the many compatible fusing products for some of
your projects. For example:
I find float glass to be incredibly versatile. It is a blank canvas waiting for creativity, which can be very fun and exciting.
If you try a fusing a float project, I'd love to see it!
